Gentleman Jim’s Sautéed Turkey Kielbasa
I had a package of Butterball Everyday Smoked Turkey Sausage in the refrigerator, but didn’t want to grill it or slather BBQ sauce all over it, so I came up with something new. I call it Gentleman Jim’s Sauteed Turkey Kielbasa. My store was out of Butterball Kielbasa the last time I was there, so I used a regular smoked turkey sausage today, with perfect results. This is a dish with an Asian flair, and the result was very surprising. I used frozen broccoli florets, too. Relatively easy to prepare, this tasty meal will fill you up so you can relax with an afternoon nap after lunch. For sure, this won’t be the last time I prepare this dish!
Gentleman Jim’s Spicy BBQ Chicken for 2 and Tasty Frozen Broccoli
Having a couple of nice boneless chicken breasts in the fridge, I decided to throw them on the grill for lunch, saving one for later. I also had a small bag of frozen broccoli that’s been calling out to me for some time.
My Gentleman Jim’s Spicy BBQ Chicken was good the first time I tried it, but this time I hit it out of the park. I didn’t bother to butterfly the breasts like I did before, and the chicken didn’t seem to mind; I just grilled them a little longer. You’ll also need Gentleman Jim’s Spicy BBQ Chicken Sauce and Jim’s Southwestern Grilled Chicken Rub and Marinade, both of which are already attached to the main recipe above. Prepare the BBQ chicken sauce the day before, because it needs to be refrigerated overnight before it’s served.
For the broccoli, I used something similar to a recipe I’ve used before. However, this time, I didn’t toss everything around in a huge skillet and stand there watching it. I think you’ll appreciate my Tasty Frozen Broccoli, cooked in a sauce pan. Broccoli can sometimes be boring, but this leaves you wondering where all the flavor came from. Enjoy!
